INDUSTRY NEWS

1. Precious Metals are losing their foothold as the US 10 bond interest rate has been rising gradually.  Asset prices are always influenced by institutional players, not retail investors.

2. M1 and M2 are the measurements for the money supply in a country. Malaysia M1 and M2 have continued to increase in Dec 2020, which means more money to push up the asset prices in the nation.

3. Despite the loan moratorium has ended in Sept 2020, there is no sign showing that the non-performing loan in Malaysia's banking system is spiking up. In short, Banks' assets are still safe and any pullback in Bank stocks presents a good buying opportunity.

Happy investing. See you in another week!
