CORPORATE EVENTS 
1. Unisem has proposed to raise RM 400 million to fund its expansion plan via private placement.
2. Batu Kawan Bhd acquire 56% in Chemical Company of Malaysia Bhd (CCM) from PNB for RM 292 million.
3. AirAsia Group Bhd's 33% owned associate, AirAsia Japan Co Ltd had filed for bankruptcy.
4. BASF Petronas Chemicals Sdn Bhd will close down its butanediol and derivatives plant in Kuantan in March 2021.
5. Asia Poly Holdings Bhd had acquired 30% equity in GB Plas Sdn Bhd for RM 15 million.


PROPERTY NEWS 
1. Ecobuilt Bhd acquired a 1.32 acre land in Kapar for the purpose of warehouse expansion.
2. Rubberex spent RM 11.39 million acquiring a piece of industrial land to fund its expansion.
3. Axis REITs entered into a related party transaction involving 3 industrial properties located at Indahpura, Johor.

  
INDUSTRY NEWS
1. The price of soybean is charting new highs. However, open position data from CFTC shows that traders are closing their position.
2. Although palm oil inventory is at a multi-year low, we noticed that the latest month's palm oil export is losing its steam
