Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad (PAAB) is planning to build several new water treatment plants. Presently, water is purchased from Terengganu to meet the inadequate needs in the area.

RM 800 million will be spent to refurbish the Kelana Jaya LRT line in Klang Valley.
The government has approved the construction of three new highways around the Klang Valley. In principle approval has been given to the Petaling Jaya traffic dispersal elevated highway (PJD Link), the Bangi-Putrajaya Expressway (BPE), and the Kuala Lumpur northern dispersal expressway (KL NODE).
Besides infrastructure projects issued by the government, GLCs and even Perkeso have started issuing contracts to Malaysian construction players.
If you are looking for property recently, you will sense that the market is starting to rebound and sales are actually picking up. This is usually the signal where property developers will start launching new projects. This means higher profit margin construction contracts will be issued to construction players in the near term.
Despite all these catalysts, the price of construction counters has barely moved, some even move downwards. It's really a good time to start investing in this sector.
