An ignored industry player who could benefit from the solar panel industry.

Scomi Group Bhd's unit, Scomi Capital Sdn Bhd (SCSB) has partnered with Odesi Ecob Sdn Bhd and Lembaga Perumahan dan Hartanah Selangor (LPHS) to promote the usage of solar renewable energy in Selangor.
Solar pane requires ample sunlight in order to provide the best efficiency. This map shows the photovoltaic power potential of Malaysia. From this map, the northern part of Peninsular Malaysia and the inner part of East Malaysia has the highest potential.
The inner part of East Malaysia comprises mountains and hills. It is not close to the population center and logistics is an issue. Hence, we are left with only the northern part of Peninsular Malaysia.
In secondary school physics, we had learned the power formula of P=IV for electric power and energy. In order to reduce the resistance while transmitting electricity long-distance, increasing the voltage is the only way. By doing so, we need an ultra-high voltage transmission cable.
Eita Resources, a company known for manufacturing elevators is also involved in the business of ultra high voltage transmission cable. Investors should take a look at this firm instead of just investing in companies that provide EPCC of solar panels.
