The real estate industry thrives in a low-interest environment while the stock market thrives in a macro environment where there is ample liquidity. In another way, the real estate industry is more susceptible to the interest rate level while the stock market is more susceptible to the Fed’s balance sheet.

Blackrock is the parent company of the world's largest ETF manager, iShares. Blackstone is an alternative investment management company that focuses mainly on real estate.
