One advantage that Zoom owns to become the leader in the video conferencing industry.

Although Zoom has been criticized for its security issue, the user base of Zoom continues to grow. Throughout the pandemic, the number of users for Zoom has grown 20x to 200 million.

200 million is not a small number for a productivity tool. The world has a population of 7.7 billion. Not everyone is connected to the internet and not everyone can work from home. I believe Zoom has cornered the Total Addressable Market (TAM) for its industry.

One of the reasons Zoom has gained popularity is its User Experience. It does not require anyone to register an account and it does not need requires anyone to do any settings before joining a meeting.

The lesson of the day: If you can help someone to save his/her time, your business is adding value to society. In an age where the supply of goods and services is in abundance, time is the only constraint that everyone still faces.
