- Cahya Mata Sarawak, the company closed related to the ruling family of Sarawak, is selling its entire 25% stakes in OM Materials (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd (OM Sarawak) and OM Materials (Samalaju) Sdn Bhd (OM Samalaju) to OM Materials (S) Pte Ltd (OMS) for a combined US$120 million

- Thong Guan Industries is investing RM 150 million to increase its production capacity to 230,000 tonnes per annum from 180,000 tonnes in 2021.
