- The Securities Commission (SC) is considering allowing startup accelerators and venture capitalists, as approved advisers for the LEAP Market listing on Bursa Malaysia. Also, the SC aims to introduce a trade sale board within the next five years, which would allow the broadcast of intent for trade sales of private companies.
- Gamuda Bhd has secured contracts worth RM 1.74 billion to build a hyperscale data centre at Elmina Business Park, Selangor.
- Pos Malaysia Bhd is selling its ship-chartering unit for RM123.21 million as part of a move to shed non-core businesses.
- Scientex Bhd is acquiring 708.5 acres of land located in Jawi, Seberang Perai for RM 15 per sqft.
- Lagenda Properties is expanding its reach in Sungai Petani by acquiring 855 acres of land for RM 4 per sqft.
- OUE Healthcare dispose a piece of leasehold commercial land located in Jalan Pinang, KL for RM 2,459 per sqft.
- Eupe Corp Bhd acquired a 2.46 acres land located at Jalan Bukit Pantai from MCL Land for RM 645.6 per sqft.
- Kuching, Sarawak is planning for a new international airport.
Privatization
- Furniture manufacturer, Eurospan Holdings Bhd has received an unconditional mandatory general offer (MGO) at RM 1.70 per share.
- SGX listed RE&S has received a privatisation offer from Southern Capital Group for 36 cents per share.
